Graystone at Winchester

Duffy Properties’ marketing team decided on the National Green Building Standard as a green label that would help them sell to their particular home-buying clientele. Karen Hudson, a green design consultant from Green Building Services, was hired to help identify and design green features to be included in the project. Very importantly, she also gathers the extensive documentation required for review by ABA.

As a qualified third-party, ABA inspects and reviews the project for its green features at the same inspection times that are required for ENERGY STAR Homes.

The project is qualified by ABA for the National Green Building Standard and ENERGY STAR Homes, and for the financial incentives from MA New Homes with ENERGY STAR.
