We are an ENERGY STAR partner who helps builders of new single family and multi-family homes cost effectively meet the challenges of higher energy efficiency standards. ABA consults with architects and builders to improve building energy efficiency to meet or exceed program goals established by EPA’s ENERGY STAR, Mass Save Residential New Construction Program, NH Saves ENERGY STAR Homes Program, NGBS, LEED, and PHIUS+, as well as Building Code consultation and verification.
As HERS Raters we are responsible for evaluating, testing, and qualifying residential buildings for many different Programs.

ABA has partnered with Boston University to develop a better method of testing and modeling air movement through multiple zones in multifamily buildings.
Drone Imaging Services
ABA is flying! We are FAA certified for remote Unmanned Aerial Systems since October of 2016 and have airspace authorization for Boston and surrounding areas. We provide construction site documentation including orthomosaic mapping and 3D modeling of topography and buildings using photogrammetry. We also use a thermal camera mounted on a drone to provide an aerial perspective that is perfect for looking at large areas such as commercial flat roof for evaluating the extent of roof leaks.
