ABA is an ENERGY STAR partner who helps builders of new single family and multi-family homes cost effectively meet the challenges of higher energy efficiency standards. ABA consults with architects and builders to improve building energy efficiency to meet or exceed program goals established by EPA’s ENERGY STAR and Massachusetts Residential New Construction programs. We have been awarded multiple ENERGY STAR® LEADERSHIP IN HOUSING AWARDS over the past 10 years.
Whether computer modeling to assess thermal performance from plans, on-site diagnostic testing, or sharing best practices with builders to optimize thermal performance, ABA has the experience and talent to help achieve common goals; building and maintaining healthy, cost effective, efficient buildings for today and the future.
Our Team
Our team includes certified HERS raters who have the ability to certify ENERGY STAR, LEED, NAHB’s National Green Building Standard, 2018 IECC Base Code compliance, and Stretch Code compliance. Our team also includes staff with expertise in Passive House Design, CAZ Testing, and Thermography. We are committed to being the architect’s, builder’s, and home owner’s energy efficiency partner throughout the design and construction processes resulting in superior performing buildings.
